About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and scale MaintainX's AI strategy and organization
Drive innovation across Agentic AI and Machine Learning for industrial operations
Develop Work Intelligence solutions for frontline operations, scheduling, inventory, and insights
Develop Asset Intelligence solutions using machine and sensor data, predictive models, prescriptive recommendations, and automated workflows
Build GTM Intelligence agents, tools, and internal products for revenue, service, and operations teams
Shape predictive, generative, and agentic AI strategy across MaintainX and potentially Autodesk Operations Solutions
Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support
Define long-term product and platform vision, milestones, and KPIs
Enable engineers to incorporate Agentic AI tools into feature development
Translate AI/ML research into production-ready solutions
Lead scalable Agentic AI platforms, including RAG systems, evaluations, and orchestration frameworks
Build data ingestion, processing, and inference pipelines for millions of unstructured documents and videos
Deliver predictive models across tabular, vibration, IoT, and multimodal sensor data
Ensure models are explainable, trusted, and embedded in MaintainX workflows
Build and scale a high-performing AI organization across platform, machine learning, and product teams
Hire and develop technical leaders and establish a high-performance culture
Represent AI with executives, customers, and industry stakeholders
Partner with Product and Design on AI-powered workflows
Collaborate with GTM teams on AI messaging, customer pilots, pricing strategies, and case studies

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in applied AI/ML
7+ years leading teams in high-growth, data-driven technology companies
Proven success designing, building and deploying predictive deep learning models into production at scale
Experience with ranking and recommendation systems, anomaly detection, forecasting, or multimodal models
Track record of building AI/ML teams, hiring senior technical leaders, and scaling organizations through growth
Deep expertise in one or more of multimodal ML, MLOps, or Agentic AI frameworks
Ability to operate from architecture design reviews to C-suite strategic planning
Strong communication skills and ability to influence across disciplines and present to executive leadership
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to balance long-term vision with near-term execution
