About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and maintain call objectives for the assigned geography
- Develop and complete territory business plans
- Create call plans and prescriber plans of action
- Execute sales calls using approved promotional materials and Keenova selling techniques
- Maintain performance metrics for call activity, sample utilization, and business plan updates
- Comply with FDA, PDMA, HPPA, and Keenova policies when interacting with healthcare professionals
- Maintain sales call databases and document trends, objectives, sampling data, and territory performance
- Manage the sample accountability program and complete administrative reports
- Synchronize, check email, and voicemail at least once a day
- Update the Area Sales Manager on the territory business plan quarterly
- Complete and track expense reports at least every two weeks
- Maintain healthcare issue, product, disease-state, patient education, consumer education, and market knowledge
- Learn and execute sales training curriculum and product information
- Understand the local payer environment and apply appropriate sales strategies
- Attend and participate in required sales conferences and training classes
- Build and expand customer relationships while articulating Keenova and competitor product strengths and limitations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferred
- Biopharmaceutical Industry experience required
- B2B sales experience required
- Able to understand technical issues (medical, computer, data analysis)
- Overnight travel is necessary (30% or more), territory specific
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
