About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead core accounting operations while scaling financial systems for sustained growth
- Guarantee financial integrity across local and international entities
- Drive month-end and year-end closing processes, including GL and statutory reporting
- Automate and optimize operational accounting flows, bank reconciliations, and complex marketplace/PSP transactions
- Participate in group statutory audits and serve as the main technical reference for auditors and external partners
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and procedures across subsidiaries in alignment with local GAAP
- Partner with Legal, Operations, and Finance teams
- Enhance and integrate NetSuite and other financial tools to eliminate manual bottlenecks and improve data integrity
- Report directly to the Accounting Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting or audit
- French at a native level
- Fluent English
- Strong technical mastery of local GAAP
- Experience coordinating statutory audits
- Strong balance-sheet reconciliation skills
- Proven experience optimizing ERP systems
- NetSuite required
- Experience deploying automation workflows
- Rigorous analytical skills
- Background screening may apply
