About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Malwarebytes product managers, engineers, and technical support agents to create product guides and self-help articles for customers
  • Deliver high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and technically accurate
  • Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets standards for quality, graphics, format, and style
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and create content to improve issue resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to a strong knowledge-sharing community within support
  • Work with support, engineering, and product management teams to gather data and information
  • Review documentation for accuracy, consistency, quality, and SEO optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field OR equivalent experience
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in a technical communication role
  • Experience writing for SaaS, mobile, and desktop B2C companies or products
  • Knowledge of AI
  • Self-starter who isn't afraid to ask for help and questions
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience writing content for both home and business users, and Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and topics
  • HTML and CSS skills
  • Search engine optimization experience
  • Comfortable creating clean, on-brand graphics and screenshots to support written documentation
  • If located in the US, ability to work earlier hours to accommodate the Europe time zone
