Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end monthly closing process, including accruals, account reconciliations, shared-service allocations, and intercompany charges
  • Own the annual budgeting process for the US holding company and subsidiaries
  • Provide financial guidance and decision support to US holding-company stakeholders
  • Direct US sales-tax compliance and filings
  • Oversee corporate income-tax provisions, bookings, extensions, and annual filings
  • Lead external audit preparation and manage banking and statutory filings
  • Oversee financial requirements for corporate insurance
  • Administer and optimize core ERP and financial tools
  • Replace legacy systems and drive process improvements and stronger internal controls
  • Drive transition plans across vendors, legal entities, personnel, and financial systems
  • Direct inventory accounting and manage the annual physical count process
  • Establish process documentation and internal controls across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll, tax, inventory, and financial close
  • Ensure timely monthly closes, reconciliations, management reporting, accruals, and intercompany allocations
  • Oversee tax filings, vendor disbursements, collections, audit deliverables, and statutory obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on, progressive accounting experience
  • Proven ownership of month-end close and core transactional accounting cycles
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliations, internal controls, payroll accounting, sales tax compliance, and corporate tax coordination
  • Experience with multiple legal entities, shared-service frameworks, intercompany allocations, and cross-charges
  • Familiarity with ERP, reporting, expense, and payroll platforms such as IFS, M3, Medius, Glovia, Cognos, Concur, Avalara, and ADP
  • Tech-savvy and eager to master and own financial systems architecture
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred
