About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle customer day-to-day calls and communication via email, phone, and, if required, in person
- Provide post-sales process and system support
- Troubleshoot machine issues over the phone or on the customer floor
- Assist with process optimization at customer sites, over the phone, or by email
- Interact with the overseas factory to solve machine issues and discuss new project requirements
- Conduct system demonstrations at the office or by processing parts and returning finished parts with detailed reports
- Develop and optimize applications to meet client objectives and user needs
- Act as a technical advisor to Sales and Service groups
- Demonstrate systems and communicate with customers at tradeshows
- Contribute to system manuals and other documentation
- Support the sales team during customer meetings
- Communicate with customers to understand new project requirements
- Prepare system configurations for quotation
- Collect feedback for hardware and software improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of fluid applications/process engineering or customer-facing technical project experience preferred
- Industry-specific experience and familiarity with conformal coating or SMT processes
- Experience working with chemicals and solvents preferred
- Understanding of basic electronics for troubleshooting
- Strong customer service, sales, and marketing experience skills
