About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement new business for mid-case clients into Group Retirement Services (GRS)
- Project manage complex amendments and plan changes for mid-case clients
- Manage simple amendments and fund rationalizations for large-case clients as required
- Manage client relationships, consulting, and implementation projects
- Support clients through all aspects of implementation and warranty processes
- Partner with Account Executives, Client Relationship Managers, and internal teams
- Create implementation schedules
- Serve as primary contact for clients and advisors during implementation
- Obtain plan details, clarify requirements, and establish task delivery dates
- Coordinate and lead client meetings
- Coordinate, delegate, negotiate, and follow up on implementation tasks
- Liaise with clients to resolve issues and obtain missing information
- Track and report project status and escalate significant barriers or issues to senior management
- Provide status updates to clients, plan advisors, Account Executives, and Client Relationship Managers
- Coordinate initial enrolment periods and contact plan sponsors for missing employee information
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve exceptional situations and problems
- Manage 15 to 20 implementations concurrently, depending on size and complexity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of contract provisions and administrative practices of Group Retirement products and systems
- Group Retirement experience
- Good knowledge of Windows-based software, including Word and Excel
- Fully bilingual in French and English; required to communicate in both languages to support clients from various jurisdictions outside Quebec
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize implications of issues and solutions
- Ability to handle fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities within set time constraints
