About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute information risk assurance assessments and control testing according to company policies and standards
- Assess controls related to application security, IT asset inventory, IT disaster recovery, and similar areas
- Participate in engagement teams and internal or stakeholder meetings to understand and assess IRM processes
- Review evidence, analyze data, and document workpapers covering processes, test steps, results, and findings
- Review control-testing data, identify trends, and assist with Power BI or Excel dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with process owners, Governance & Control teams, and Information Risk Officers
- Track issues identified through assurance engagements and support management corrective action plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in risk management, business administration, information systems, computer science, or related subjects
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Result-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Agile, creative, and able to show initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Previous internship experience in risk management, compliance, data analytics, or related fields (preferred)
- Interest or basic exposure to Excel, Power BI, Python, or Power Automate (preferred)
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (preferred)
- Understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environment (preferred)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail (preferred)
