Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform information risk assurance assessments and controls testing according to company policies and standards, including application security, IT asset inventory, and IT disaster recovery
  • Participate in engagement teams and internal or stakeholder meetings to understand and assess information risk management processes
  • Review evidence, analyze data, and document process workpapers, test steps, results, and detailed findings
  • Review control-testing data, identify trends, and assist with updates to Power BI or Excel dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with process owners, Governance & Control teams, and Information Risk Officers
  • Track issues identified during assurance engagements and ensure management corrective action plans address related risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in risk management, business administration, information systems, computer science, or related subjects
  • Agile, creative, and able to show initiative in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Previous internship experience in risk management, compliance, data analytics, or related fields (preferred)
  • Interest or basic exposure to Excel, Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or similar tools (preferred)
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks (preferred)
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and changing priorities (preferred)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail (preferred)
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environment (preferred)
