About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Provide feedback to product and development teams
- Create, maintain, and execute automated regression and performance test scripts
- Use AI-enabled tools for test planning, test design, defect analysis, test automation, and quality documentation
- Validate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, quality standards, and business alignment
- Analyze automation results and investigate failures
- Communicate findings to relevant partners
- Design detailed, comprehensive, and traceable test plans and test cases
- Perform manual functional and regression testing when appropriate
- Define and monitor product-quality KPIs and reporting
- Track quality assurance metrics including defect density, defect frequency, and first-time pass rate
- Stay current with testing tools, software, frameworks, and quality engineering practices
- Promote quality-focused methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify QA process bottlenecks and design practical improvements
- Maintain and communicate quality standards and technical changes
- Prepare and deliver formal quality audit reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including advanced experience with test automation
- Experience developing comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Xray, and Jira
- Solid knowledge of UI testing, automated testing, and behavior-driven development/testing
- Ability to apply quality engineering best practices, including risk-based testing
- Familiarity with black-box and white-box testing practices
- Collaborative approach and willingness to coach colleagues, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge
- Preferred: experience applying AI-assisted techniques to testing and quality documentation
- Preferred: learning mindset and ability to apply insights from successes and setbacks
- Preferred: strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: clear verbal and written communication skills
