About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategize, create, implement, and manage automated tests for US Segment software applications
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and generate bug tracking and reporting outputs
- Develop end-to-end test strategies and establish automated test coverage and best practices across the product life cycle
- Analyze automation results and investigate failures
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Create and communicate Testing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, product owners, business stakeholders, delivery leads, and end users to identify and address quality issues and support user acceptance testing
- Implement updated quality standards and improve quality assurance processes
- Participate in Engineering Forums
- Document and implement leading practices for QA improvements and efficiencies
- Stay current with industry trends and apply new knowledge to testing practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent educational background
- 4 or more years of hands-on experience in software testing
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, Appium, WebDriverIO, Xray for JIRA, Jenkins, TeamCity, and other testing frameworks and tools
- Amenable to work night shift, 8PM to 5AM
- Amenable to hybrid work, reporting to the office 3 times a week
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, .NET, Node.js/React, or Python
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA and Confluence
- Experience creating comprehensive test strategies and applying risk-based testing principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including facilitation and presentation
- Strong planning, organization, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to identify productivity and efficiency improvements
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change
