About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls to potential advisor recruits and secure follow-up appointments
  • Execute end-to-end recruiting, contracting, transition, and onboarding processes for advisors joining Manulife Wealth
  • Manage onboarding for new advisors, including account setup and systems integration
  • Support advisors transitioning books of business to Manulife Wealth and other wealth lines of business
  • Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and improve efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide training and transition support
  • Develop and maintain recruiting, contracting, and onboarding materials and resources
  • Provide personalized transition support and resolve advisor challenges
  • Implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance advisor satisfaction
  • Foster relationships with recruitment, training, compliance, and IT teams
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout onboarding and transitions
  • Provide ongoing transition support to existing advisors throughout their careers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, onboarding processes, and deadlines
  • Proven ability to implement and deliver solutions in complex environments with competing resources and constraints
  • Ability to thrive in a high-profile, high-pressure, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment with limited resources
  • Exceptional data-entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage relationships and escalations effectively
  • Strong listening, consultative, relationship-management, teamwork, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and complex situation-resolution capabilities
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with advisors and effectively partner with internal stakeholders to drive results
  • Strong knowledge of advisor technology, including back-office systems, portfolio-management tools, and financial-planning software
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Ability to travel across Canada approximately 30% of the time
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably with an IIROC- or MFDA-regulated firm, is an asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset; required in Québec to support clients from various provinces outside Quebec
  • Post-secondary degree is preferred
