About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee project managers, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and Scrum Masters
- Ensure disciplined, predictable, high-quality delivery across business-critical initiatives
- Manage daily team operations, mentorship, recruitment, development, retention, and performance
- Establish delivery standards, playbooks, templates, reporting expectations, rituals, and performance indicators
- Assign resources to prioritized business initiatives based on capacity and capabilities
- Monitor demand, capacity, delivery risks, gaps, and constraints
- Provide leadership with actionable insights into delivery performance, risks, and dependencies
- Develop Scrum Masters through career paths, role expectations, and skill development
- Oversee delivery health, planning discipline, dependency management, risk and issue management, and progress transparency
- Partner with LACE, Product Owners, Portfolio Managers, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to advance agile maturity and align delivery capabilities with strategic priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required
- Ten (10) or more years of diversified IT experience required
- Three (3) or more years of direct or indirect leadership experience required
- Two (2) or more years of experience managing agile delivery teams preferred
- Three (3) or more years of experience in agile delivery preferred
- Advanced certifications, including Certified Scrum Master or PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred
