About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support real projects and routine operations and maintenance for Natural Gas & Natural Gas Liquids Services
  • Develop project scopes, including estimating, scheduling, design, contractor engagement, and construction oversight
  • Support DOT-regulated pipeline integrity and maintenance programs
  • Conduct field work at pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, gas processing plants, and related facilities
  • Support automation/controls engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, process optimization engineering, project engineering, operations engineering, reliability engineering, pipeline integrity, corrosion, and measurement services
  • Work side-by-side with experienced professionals as a contributing member of diverse work teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum/Natural Gas, or Electrical Engineering
  • Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience
  • Strong academic performance
  • Available to work on site 40 hours per week
  • Valid driver's license for work-related travel
  • Reliable transportation to and from place of work
  • Ability to spend time in the field monitoring and managing activities as required in various areas of midstream natural gas and light crude facilities
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Available for multiple work terms is preferred
