About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams
  • Oversee project or team schedules, tasks, and resource requirements
  • Coach, facilitate, and participate in resourcing decisions for multiple teams or teams-of-teams
  • Facilitate coordination across Agile teams, Product Owners, delivery partners, and stakeholders
  • Manage dependencies, support Program Increment planning, escalate delivery risks, and promote alignment with business objectives
  • Coordinate interdependencies with Release Train Engineers, Portfolio Managers, and external vendor teams
  • Partner with Product Owners on backlog health, story mapping, and dependency management
  • Organize and conduct communications for large groups and teams-of-teams
  • Facilitate large teams-of-teams events and proactive planning routines
  • Identify opportunities to reduce risk through processes, procedures, and automation
  • Identify stakeholders and form partnerships across teams and departments
  • Lead best practices in documentation and train and mentor Product Management and Product Owners
  • Coach teams, teams-of-teams, and the organization on Agile/Scrum practices
  • Remove obstacles, facilitate ceremonies, and run backlogs
  • Develop an Agile maturity roadmap and provide ongoing coaching and support for Agile adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or another computer-related degree required
  • 7 or more years of relevant Scrum Master experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of relevant scrum master experience
  • Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodology
  • Program Increment (PI) planning and scaled Agile coordination
  • Backlog health, story mapping, and dependency management
  • Risk management and issue resolution
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Data analysis and metrics reporting
  • Change management and workflow optimization
