About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, maintain, standardize, and analyze material master data in inventory management systems
- Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory
- Review, evaluate, and process changes to existing material master data records
- Prevent duplicate records and apply best practices for description standardization and material classification
- Request additional information from customer stakeholders to ensure records are accurate, complete, and searchable
- Support data quality improvement, data cleansing, and material master process optimization
- Support customer stakeholders and business partners on material master data and related processes
- Perform data analysis for metrics reporting, duplicate data reviews, and ad-hoc requests
- Collaborate with Supply Chain business partners and report to the Supply Chain Operations Material Master Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or related field preferred
- 4+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience required
- Knowledge of materials master and related master data processes preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred
