About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day support and strategic consultation to stakeholders using material master data and related system functionality
- Champion standardization of material master descriptions, material classification, and data governance practices
- Lead system-wide or enterprise-wide material master data cleansing and data enrichment projects
- Serve as a material master data best practices SME for Supply Chain employees and stakeholders
- Facilitate creation and extension of material master records for business partners and stakeholders
- Assist with SOX control reporting and monitoring for material master data governance
- Provide training and desk-side support for material master data modules
- Author and maintain Supply Chain material master data procedures, policies, and job aids
- Identify opportunities for value creation through enhanced workstreams, procedures, or projects
- Work with operational site stakeholders to understand material master data pain points and develop solution strategies
- Collaborate with Materials Management colleagues on data cleansing, enhancement, stocking-level optimization, and disposition initiatives aligned with business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Four (4) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience
- Experience with material master data and/or system functionality impacted by material master data
- Knowledge of material master descriptions, material classification, and data governance practices
- Knowledge of Supply Chain material master data modules and related procedures, policies, and job aids
