About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Remain on call 24 hours/7 days per week to adjust schedules for operational upsets or emergencies
- Plan pipeline schedules to optimize pipeline utilization, hydraulics, and operating costs
- Prepare and distribute daily operational and shipper inventory reports
- Review and analyze customer requirements to determine batch size, sequence, and timing at origin and destination points
- Communicate with shippers and connecting carriers to develop receipt and delivery timing and grades
- Provide schedules and instructions to shippers, connecting carriers, the Operations Center, and field personnel
- Update schedules to reflect changes in batch size, sequence, timing, and origin
- Identify business growth opportunities and implement schedule efficiencies
- Identify synergies with shippers, connecting carriers, field personnel, and Logistics and Storage Engineering to minimize system downtime
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required
- In lieu of a degree, 5 years of industry experience is required
- Knowledge of downstream operations and/or pipeline operations is preferred
- Experience with Excel, including familiarity with data manipulation and writing functions
- Experience with Outlook and Word
- Ability to remain on call 24 hours/7 days per week
- Ability to work in San Antonio, Texas or Findlay, Ohio, depending on the selected candidate
