About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conceptualize, design, coordinate, and manage through start-up the construction of midstream natural gas facilities
  • Collaborate with affected departments to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, and environmental, health, and safety impacts
  • Develop, implement, and manage capital and expense projects while adhering to budgets and project management processes
  • Facilitate detailed design and technical reviews to ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards
  • Manage, control, and communicate project performance to multidisciplinary internal stakeholder teams
  • Manage multiple projects of varying magnitude and complexity from conception through commissioning and start-up
  • Act as a safety leader, prepare and lead project safety meetings, drive safely, utilize the MOC process, and support energy isolation procedures
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and optimize processes using sound engineering practices
  • Lead project safety reviews including HAZOPs, PHAs, and PSSRs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering or other engineering degree from ABET accredited institution OR registered professional engineer with relevant experience required
  • Four (4) years or more of experience required
  • Preferred engineering experience including meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants, and other related facilities
  • Ability to comply with company standards, procedures, and government requirements
  • Ability to lead project safety reviews including HAZOPs, PHAs, and PSSRs
  • Knowledge of sound engineering practices and process optimization
  • Ability to support HES goals and follow safety procedures
