Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems for rotating and/or fixed equipment in assigned area teams.
  • Contacts internal and external experts as required.
  • Utilizes reliability analytics, failure evaluations, and cost analysis to improve equipment system reliability.
  • Writes Project Request Forms (PRFs) for reliability improvement projects and equipment upgrades, including financial justification and life cycle cost analysis.
  • Assists in Decision Support Package (DSP) development.
  • Champions Management of Change (MOC) as appropriate for the work scope.
  • Helps establish equipment monitoring plans and control limits.
  • Ensures equipment repairs meet or exceed Original Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Zero (0) years or more of experience required.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for rotating and/or fixed equipment.
  • Knowledge of reliability analytics, failure evaluations, and cost analysis.
  • Ability to write Project Request Forms (PRFs), including financial justification and life cycle cost analysis.
  • Ability to assist in Decision Support Package (DSP) development.
  • Knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes.
  • Ability to establish equipment monitoring plans and control limits.
  • Knowledge of Original Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
