About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support SCADA processes and OT Infrastructure for Marathon Pipe Line assets
  • Design, edit, and build SCADA screens to support evolving operational needs
  • Update the SCADA database with new or modified operations functions
  • Perform point-to-point verification with field technicians to validate SCADA configurations
  • Document control environment changes in alignment with the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Assist field teams with control system troubleshooting by providing timely SCADA data and insights
  • Maintain SCADA infrastructure and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the MPL SCADA system
  • Provide rotational 24x7 on-call support to the Operations Center
  • Design, test, and implement custom programming within the SCADA environment for automation and control of pipeline assets
  • Develop and maintain interfaces to critical systems required to use SCADA data for pipeline operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or other related discipline required
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience required
  • Driver’s License required
  • Travel is 10% or less
  • Ability to provide rotational 24x7 on-call support to the Operations Center
