About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent learning stakeholders' business and operational needs in product discovery, backlog refinement, release planning, and solution-design discussions
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve controls, and increase the reliability and scalability of learning management activities
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology implementations
- Develop or support data-integrity reviews, reconciliations, reports, and control processes
- Document defects, assess business impact, support prioritization, and verify issue resolution
- Design, implement, maintain, and monitor integrations affecting learning platforms and processes
- Serve as an escalation resource for complex learning platform, integration, assignment, access, data, and user-support issues
- Analyze support trends and user feedback to identify system enhancements, process simplification, automation, and self-service opportunities
- Lead improvement recommendations and present them to senior and executive management and global teams
- Lead client meetings with business and development teams and communicate with senior leaders on complex cross-functional processes and applications
- Recommend appropriate system alternatives and enhancements
- Partner with business teams to investigate performance and other measures to support business planning
- Lead cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for proposed systems
- Mentor colleagues and improve team capabilities around IT Service Management disciplines
- Lead cross-functional testing strategy development, execution, and documentation
- Plan, conduct, and document user stories and user feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience with Workday Learning and HRIS processes preferred
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI preferred
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, business analysis, business process modeling and redesign, change management, incident management, quality assurance, requirements management, SDLC, and specification development
- Experience analyzing learning data, worker data, security access, configuration, and related system information
- Ability to lead cross-functional testing strategies and technology delivery
- Ability to present recommendations to senior and executive management and global teams
