Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, evaluate, and deliver strategic digital initiatives creating measurable business value across Refining locations and processes
Lead improvement recommendations and present to senior and executive management and global teams
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader shaping the digital roadmap and accelerating operational excellence
Lead client meetings with business and development teams
Communicate with senior leaders to execute cross-functional complex processes and applications
Align technology investments with business objectives across IT and OT landscapes
Recommend systems alternatives and enhancements
Partner with business teams to investigate performance measures and drive business planning
Lead cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems
Mentor colleagues and improve team capabilities across IT Service Management disciplines
Lead cross-functional testing strategy development, execution, and documentation
Drive complex initiatives across multiple teams and organizations through execution, adoption, and business outcomes
Plan, conduct, and document user stories and user feedback
Communicate technology improvement feedback with senior leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred, related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience required
Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives in refining, manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments strongly preferred
Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies preferred
Understanding of IT/OT convergence and integrating systems across industrial and enterprise environments preferred
Proven ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive change across large, matrixed organizations preferred
Knowledge of AI fundamentals, change management, Agile methodologies, business analysis, business process modeling and redesign, incident management, quality assurance, requirements management, SDLC, and specifications development
