About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Digital organization by developing and managing digital strategic sourcing initiatives for software, hardware, and professional services
- Lead sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, drive cost reductions, mitigate risk, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and support business needs
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers; track KPIs and resolve performance issues
- Collaborate with business units to assess requirements and develop sourcing and contracting strategies
- Lead the RFx process, including requirements development, vendor negotiations, and contract execution
- Manage supplier relationship management for strategic suppliers to drive improvement and resolve supply issues
- Oversee a portfolio of critical suppliers and execute category strategies for IT cybersecurity and hardware projects
- Analyze bids, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery and supplier performance
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization within procurement
- Interpret commercial, financial, and business data to minimize risk and recommend qualified contractors
- Lead workshops and supplier business unit reviews to stay current with technology trends
- Expedite purchase commitments and execute the procurement process through the Procure to Pay process from order entry through invoice reconciliation and payment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s preferred
- 4+ years in Supply Chain or business relevant experience
- Experience negotiating with IT vendors
- Strong understanding of IT technologies preferred
- C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification beneficial
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, PowerBI, and Ariba
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change
