About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership to the compensation and benefits team and serve as a key member of the human resources leadership team
- Lead a team of approximately 25 and report to the CHRO & SVP Communications
- Lead all aspects of global compensation, including design, policy, and administration of compensation and executive compensation programs
- Prepare documents and participate in Board of Director Compensation and Organization Development Committee meetings
- Oversee health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans
- Lead development, communication, and administration of employee benefit programs for globally located employees
- Drive strategic design and execution of the Total Rewards philosophy
- Deliver Total Rewards programs covering executive compensation, compensation, health and welfare benefits, retirement savings benefits, HR policies, and relocation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for team, processes, and systems
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance and manage reporting and disclosures
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external third-party vendors
- Monitor trends, market conditions, industry best practices, vendor capabilities, and developments
- Manage global compensation program design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and reporting
- Develop materials for the Compensation and Organization Development Committee of the Board of Directors and participate in committee meetings
- Oversee base pay management, short- and long-term incentive plans, market data and benchmarking, compensation structures and systems, compensation budget, and equity analysis
- Lead global design and administration of health and welfare, relocation, and retirement plans
- Assess benefit program effectiveness, manage benefit spend, and oversee benefit consulting partnerships
- Collaborate on wellness initiatives and employee benefits support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 20+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, or a closely related function, including multiple leadership roles with increasing responsibility and scope
- Experience presenting to Compensation Committee/Board of Directors members and working with Executive Leadership
- Preferred: Leading a global Total Rewards function and developing Total Reward programs
- Preferred: Contributing to due diligence assessments and managing M&A, divestitures, and large-scale organization change
- Preferred: Managing in an HR shared service environment with matrixed leadership
