About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare letters and recruitment-related documents
- Update and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Provide candidate screening support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Draft employment letters, reports, and change notices
- Coordinate exit processes, including distribution list communications
- Administer employee surveys, including engagement and onboarding surveys
- Prepare merit increase and promotion letters with supporting documentation
- Provide design support for HR materials
- Update documents and create supporting materials as needed
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires
- Determine outstanding training requirements and coordinate system access termination as needed
- Coordinate 30/60/90-day check-ins with new hires
- Support the new hire buddy program, including scheduling and meeting invites
- Schedule HR orientation sessions
- Provide general HR and administrative support to the HR team
- Support special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or related administrative role
- Experience with HRIS platforms and SharePoint an asset
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
