About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for Western Canada to achieve revenue targets, growth objectives, and market share expansion
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, partner engagement, and industry networking
  • Build and maintain relationships with system integrators, wholesale distributors, consultants, and end users
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and technical support teams to align customer needs with solution offerings and go-to-market initiatives
  • Deliver in-person and virtual product presentations, demonstrations, and solution positioning
  • Manage pipeline activity and provide forecasts, sales reports, and territory updates using CRM and reporting systems
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive activity, and market conditions
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within physical security, video surveillance, enterprise technology, or IT solutions
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, including IP video systems, cloud-based platforms, and AI-driven analytics solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 35 lbs. of equipment as needed for demonstrations and installations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar
  • Experience working under commission-based compensation structures
  • Comprehensive understanding of consultative and solution-based selling approaches
  • Additional duties may be assigned at management’s discretion based on business needs
