About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, implement, and continuously improve the S&OP / IBP framework, calendar, and governance across Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, and Engineering
- Define S&OP key metrics, standard templates, KPIs, and RACI
- Lead monthly demand, supply, and executive S&OP reviews and translate decisions into MPS/MRP, capacity plans, and commercial commitments
- Integrate demand forecasts, supply plans, and financial plans to deliver revenue, service level, and inventory objectives
- Lead consensus demand planning, forecasting methodologies, forecast accuracy, and demand risk/opportunity management
- Translate demand into capacity, supply, and inventory plans
- Lead scenario planning for demand changes, component constraints, customer priorities, inventory investment, and revenue recovery
- Serve as planning interface to global contract manufacturing partners including Delta and Sanmina
- Manage rolling 6–12-month forecasts, MPS/MRP visibility, expedites, reschedules, and minimum order quantities
- Manage raw material risk and liability exposure using Kinaxis
- Support outsourced logistics locations and inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipment logistics
- Use BOM analysis to inform S&OP decisions and early-purchase strategies
- Escalate material shortages and coordinate mitigation across planning, engineering, procurement, and suppliers
- Present S&OP outcomes, supply risks, and scenario analyses to executive leadership
- Champion cross-functional alignment and lead change management to elevate S&OP maturity
- Participate in Product Line readiness and gate reviews
- Define and monitor planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, OTIF, inventory turns, capacity utilization, material availability, and NPI launch readiness
- Ensure S&OP decisions are reflected in ERP/APS data and material masters
- Drive continuous improvement and quantify financial and operational benefits
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or planning in the high-tech / networking or electronics industry
- 5+ years of direct experience leading S&OP/IBP or integrated demand/supply planning processes, ideally in a hardware or systems environment
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and outsourced logistics providers, including forecast commitments and liability management
- Strong understanding of MRP/MPS, capacity planning, and inventory management, and how they connect to S&OP and financial planning
- Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, or similar) and advanced Excel/analytics
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills; proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives and to drive decisions under time pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial analysis and scenario modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
