About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver revenue performance for a flagship healthcare exhibition
  • Exceed personal monthly and show targets through proactive outreach, strategic selling and face-to-face relationship building
  • Own high-value accounts and personally secure major deals
  • Develop key account strategies that drive long-term revenue
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Expand market share and strengthen the exhibition’s sector presence
  • Own pipeline health, KPIs and performance
  • Intervene decisively to keep trading on track and meet or exceed targets
  • Create and implement sales plans for year-on-year revenue and customer-volume growth
  • Coordinate forecasting, budgeting and sales planning
  • Provide accurate weekly trading and pipeline reports
  • Improve sales efficiency through data-led decision-making
  • Report to the Portfolio Director
  • Operate as a senior individual contributor with no line management responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven senior sales performance with a strong record of personally delivering significant revenue
  • Strong experience hunting for new business
  • Exceptional closing skills across telephone, virtual and face-to-face environments
  • Gravitas and confidence to influence high-profile stakeholders and key accounts
  • Commercial mindset, resilience, energy and self-motivation to outperform targets
  • Strategic thinking and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Strong understanding of event or media sales environments
  • Experience driving growth across revenue and customer volumes
  • Experience building and executing key account strategies
  • Track record of improving sales effectiveness through forecasting, reporting and data-led decision-making
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
