About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and control equipment to achieve desired performance
- Conduct inspection of equipment as needed
- Conduct maintenance of equipment as needed
- Perform water sample testing, including pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, turbidity, hardness, chlorine, and conductivity
- Conduct chemical cleans on equipment
- Maintain daily records, including pre-job safety briefs, daily service, and job safety analysis
- Carry out site risk assessments
- Monitor equipment integrity daily
- Communicate with clients as required
- Handle chemicals safely
- Modify or update standard operating procedures as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education with a technical focus (desired)
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible team player
- Effective communication skills dealing with a variety of parties
- Knowledge on pumps, motors, valves, air compressors, blowers, PVC & HDPE piping, electrical 24/110/240/480 volts
- Safety conscious problem solver
- Work schedule flexibility & provide on call 24 hours
- Must be willing to undergo background screening, drug testing and safety training as required to access customer sites
