About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide superior, solution-driven customer service
  • Provide phone coverage within the queue
  • Handle customer issues to ensure quality customer service
  • Use CRM, ERP, Microsoft Suite, and other software systems to service accounts
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Antech products and programs
  • Investigate customer issues and find appropriate solutions
  • Take incoming calls and place orders for supplies or consumables
  • Handle customer inquiries
  • Manage distributor relationships and other partnerships
  • Update Salesforce.com data and set up new accounts
  • Communicate potential sales opportunities via leads to appropriate teams
  • Maintain queue quality assurance metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's degree in business or veterinary related field, or equivalent related experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in call center environment is preferred
  • Working knowledge of veterinarian, medical information technology (IT) and/or clinical diagnostic environment preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, patience, and ability to listen
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to approach problems and find appropriate solutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of situations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially over the telephone
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Software and E-mail required
  • Intermediate ability with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred
  • Ability to maintain quality assurance metrics for queue
  • Requires Saturday shift, some Holidays, and work hours of 8:30am–5:00pm PST, with one weekday and Sundays off
