About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead global, cross-segment development of the Demand Planning Capability within the Mars Supply Excellence for Supply Chain programme
- Develop and continuously improve demand planning content, capability standards, training materials, and assessment tools
- Define process definitions, subprocesses, task flows, and capability profiles for demand planning roles
- Support regional deployment of standards, training, digital tools, and assessments through regional SME teams
- Govern functional content, standards, and digital technology while prioritizing continuous improvement
- Define interfaces, operating rhythms, information sources, customers, and communication templates with adjacent functions
- Lead Mars Digital Technologies developments and sprints; serve as business product owner for supporting digital products
- Define meeting SIPOCs and in-process measurement tools
- Benchmark content and standards externally
- Lead global communities of practice with regional SMEs
- Define audit and capability-assessment frameworks, KPIs, and tools for successful capability embedding
- Develop KPI tracking dashboards and own process governance, adherence tracking, and process health checks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong supply chain functional knowledge in one or more capability areas, or directly related areas
- Extensive operational experience: 5+ years mastering demand planning processes and sub-processes
- Ability to influence and motivate at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Digital savvy with strong learning agility across processes and systems
- Well-developed project management and planning skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain planning and related areas
- Proven track record of managing operations and driving improvement programs in the supply chain
- Preferred: experience with design thinking/creative problem solving
- Preferred: experience with S&OP in addition to demand planning
- Preferred: experience with capability building and training of others
