About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the creation, maintenance, and modification of master data records across Product, Customer, Supplier/Vendor, and Location domains
- Troubleshoot data entry errors and resolve naming inconsistencies
- Perform regular data audits and cleanse obsolete, duplicate, or unused data
- Ensure data-entry activities follow established standards, workflows, controls, and policies
- Track and coordinate master data readiness for New Product Introductions, stage-gate processes, and supply chain transitions
- Facilitate cross-functional data collection workflows with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Assist with requirements gathering, data structure definition, and automated master data integration across ERP, PLM, and MDM systems
- Prepare status reports and dashboards on data readiness, quality metrics, and bottlenecks
- Assist in developing training materials and support business users and Data Stewards
- Identify and recommend data quality, process simplification, and automation improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Master Data Specialist, or Product Information Analyst, ideally within a CPG or manufacturing company
- Foundational understanding of Master Data Management concepts, including data governance, stewards, owners, schemas, and hierarchies
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and align data-related tasks with strict project timelines
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or JD Edwards
- Strong proficiency with PLM/MDM software
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data cleaning functions
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, or PMO collaboration software, is a plus
