About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to executive, global, or regional leadership, translating business strategies into People & Organization priorities and plans.
  • Co-create business strategies, drive systemic organizational changes, and lead key transversal P&O activities across the broader enterprise.
  • Champion the Science & Diagnostics Culture and Mars Five Principles.
  • Align organizational design with business objectives and embed the Mars Five Principles and Associate Concept in leadership and people-related decisions.
  • Partner with senior leaders and serve as a key member of their leadership teams to influence and drive business growth through talent and organizational strategies.
  • Design and lead complex organizational design initiatives and large-scale change management plans.
  • Lead high-visibility transversal P&O activities and communities across the organization.
  • Lead long-term strategic workforce planning, including IVCP, AEP, and staffing models.
  • Collaborate with global Centers of Expertise to co-design and pilot enterprise-wide initiatives; lead deployment, coach leaders and associates, and own success metrics.
  • Use workforce analytics, external benchmarks, and internal metrics to generate insights, build business cases, influence priorities, and measure ROI.
  • Drive a high-performance culture promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Address systemic workplace issues and provide senior-level guidance on employee relations cases.
  • Oversee compliance and risk mitigation, ensuring leadership decisions conform to employment laws, internal policies, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure organization and talent changes are documented and reflected in systems including letters, Workday, and job descriptions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports where applicable and mentor T2 P&O Business Partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree.
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent senior-level HR certification strongly preferred.
  • 10–12+ years of progressive HR/P&O business partnering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or directing capacity.
  • Proven experience successfully partnering with executive or global/regional Leaders.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition etc.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global environment, preferably within veterinary diagnostic solutions, healthcare, or consumer goods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong typing ability.
