About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the sale, distribution, and merchandising of Mars Wrigley products at retail locations within an assigned territory
- Manage wholesale and retail chain accounts against NSV targets
- Sell and maintain distribution of assigned products
- Present display programs, suggest orders, and sell booking sheets to stores
- Ensure products are properly stocked and displayed with price labels
- Replenish displays, including Mars Canada displays
- Secure secondary locations for display builds and implement marketing/POS materials
- Rotate products to ensure quality and freshness
- Maintain customer data, surveys, and follow-ups in sales data collection software
- Plan and organize routes according to the call coverage model
- Keep the DSM informed of territory activity
- Maintain merchandising supplies and POS materials
- Follow credit and cheque-processing procedures
- Build and maintain relationships with key store personnel
- Act as a peer trainer for onboarding tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in Business Administration or a relevant field
- Strong customer management and organizational skills
- Experience managing accounts is highly preferred
- Retail sales experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexibility regarding remote work, including potential overnight stays within the territory
- Reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory
- Availability to travel; frequent travel is required
