About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the Veterinary Business Unit strategy and achieve business objectives/KPIs by delivering account-specific sales goals
- Identify clinic opportunities and leverage sales data
- Grow relevance, access to clinics, and veterinary recommendation within the assigned geography
- Translate product, category, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan based on clinic operational needs
- Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers
- Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations for veterinary staff
- Collaborate with account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, Scientific Affairs, and other stakeholders
- Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies, tactics, and investments
- Manage expense and sales budgets
- Complete CRM call reports, expense reports, and presentations accurately and on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
- Veterinary clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
- Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel
- Must live within Territory
- Mars does not sponsor visas for this role
- This position is not eligible for relocation benefits
