About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Test features on Marvell semiconductor chips for internal and external customers
  • Ensure underperforming units are not shipped
  • Work with design teams to ensure chip features are testable and results meet customer specifications
  • Write new code or develop testing strategies when current equipment capabilities are insufficient
  • Verify code and test programs across large numbers of individual parts
  • Flag parts with unexpected results for further investigation
  • Replicate work in the test bench environment
  • Conduct correlation exercises with design and verification teams to determine root causes
  • Contribute to new product introduction activities, including silicon bring-up and release of sampling, qualification, characterization, and production test programs
  • Optimize test time and yield
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, program management, quality assurance, and operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
  • Experience with digital/analog circuit fundamentals from digital communication, analog circuit design, algorithm and programming coursework, research, and projects
  • Software development experience and coding in a general-purpose programming language
  • Ability to read schematics and research different chips on schematics
  • Comfort with Python, C, Visual Basic, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with teams in other departments
  • Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. law; some applicants may be subject to an export license review process prior to employment
