About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a sales specialist in a Home Depot store focused on professional painting contractors
Meet and build relationships with local professional contractors
Learn contractors’ businesses and needs and follow up on jobs and future needs
Support the Home Depot Pro Desk
Collaborate with outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff
Pull and tint paint orders for pickup
Mix paint and collect sundry paint tools
Help contractors obtain the right products and leave the store quickly
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce

Requirements

What you’ll need

Approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping customers
Basic computer skills
Outgoing personality and positive attitude
Self-starter attitude
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to use Salesforce/customer relationship management software; training provided
Bilingual ability is a bonus, not required
No previous paint or sales experience required
