About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a sales specialist in a Home Depot store focusing on professional painting contractors
- Meet and build relationships with local professional contractors
- Identify contractors' needs and follow up regarding jobs and future needs
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives and Home Depot Pro Desk staff
- Pull and tint paint orders for pickup
- Mix paint and provide sundry paint tools
- Help professional customers quickly obtain the right products and return to work
- Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce
- Maintain a professional, helpful relationship with Home Depot staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping customers
- Basic computer skills
- Outgoing personality and positive attitude
- Self-starter who can help wherever needed
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Salesforce/customer relationship management experience is a plus; training provided
- Bilingual ability is a bonus, not required
- No previous paint or sales experience required
