About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide analytical inputs for managing the Product Program for UAE (all emirates), IBG, and other geographies as operations expand
  • Perform portfolio analytics to identify risk and growth areas and facilitate policy changes
  • Analyze product tests to explore growth segments and conduct portfolio stress tests and risk-based segmentation
  • Monitor portfolio growth and direction and generate MIS for outcomes
  • Support automation of credit policies and lending parameters
  • Prepare complete UAT test scripts, test required development, and review and recommend updates to maximize automation and reduce manual intervention
  • Review existing systems and highlight discrepancies between existing and approved policies
  • Support the Policy Manager and collaborate with Collections and Recovery to develop procedures and strategies for curing bad credits and enhancing underwriting standards
  • Monitor portfolio quality by analyzing available data
  • Develop implementable solutions for asset quality issues in acquisition and existing retail asset portfolios
  • Assist with policy preparation and modification based on market requirements and portfolio performance
  • Draft policies and guidelines for product programs, new launches, and target segments
  • Track system change requests, liaise with relevant units, and improve risk management
  • Ensure policy implementation is completed within approved timelines and highlight exceptions for approval
  • Liaise with the Retail Risk team to ensure data availability for comprehensive reporting
  • Collaborate with Collections and the Credit Initiation Unit to improve policy implementation
  • Submit MIS reports to internal departments and external agencies within stipulated deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands on experience in SAS, Hadoop, Hive
  • Graduate degree in finance, engineering, business or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in best practices in credit and underwriting
  • In-depth knowledge of banking operations, sales, and customer-focused environments
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking/financial services, including credit analysis, statistical analysis, and leadership roles
