Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure service stability and system uptime for systems in the portfolio according to agreed SLAs
  • Provide L2/L3 support and handle technical escalations
  • Provide guidance and technical insights to the team for continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in database platform support in a large-scale environment
  • Experience architecting, implementing, and providing post-implementation support
  • Experience ensuring on-time service delivery to internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of large-scale production support
  • Experience with large-scale upgrades, migrations, and transitions
  • Experience implementing security for products in the portfolio
  • Problem, incident, escalation, and change management aligned with ITIL processes
  • Adoption of new database technologies and open-source database support
  • Strong technical skills in MS SQL and Oracle Database platforms, with hands-on experience
  • Experience with SQL Always On
  • SQL Server database administration, including backup and recovery, installation, and patching
  • Database performance tuning
