About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Liaise with people taking decisions about a product and the people developing it
- Gather customer needs
- Define and order the Product Backlog
- Plan how to realize the Backlog together with the team
- Decide when product increments can be released to customers
- Work with the Product Owner and technical teams to ensure project standards implementation and communicate changes efficiently
- Detail solution design, including functional specifications, use cases, interfaces, and workflows
- Analyze and define requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations for proposed solutions
- Establish relationships with client stakeholders through deep understanding of the business domain
- Represent the business when dealing with project stakeholders, including regular on-site presence
- Work closely and collaboratively with Agile development teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of technical project delivery experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience gathering requirements and translating into user requirements, data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience
- Technical background in development or testing is a plus
- Background in engineering, technology, or UX preferred
- Experience as a Proxy Product Owner / Product Manager with software products
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior leaders
- Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
- Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
- Total of at least 7 years of experience
