  • Comply with privacy, departmental, and hospital policies
  • Use proper positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques to support patient comfort and safety
  • Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS required
  • Associate's degree in Sonography preferred
  • Previous experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred
  • New Hampshire locations: Medical Imaging License through the State of New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure & Certification (OPLC) required upon hire
  • Ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms, portable cardiac ultrasound studies, and contrast/bubble studies
  • Ability to review patient histories, prior imaging, and clinical information
  • Ability to prepare accurate preliminary reports and communicate findings to interpreting physicians
  • Ability to follow infection prevention, patient safety, privacy, departmental, and hospital policies
  • Ability to meet established productivity and quality standards
