Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
  • Operate cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic equipment
  • Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Interpret ECG and hemodynamic data
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond using advanced clinical knowledge and ACLS skills
  • Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile techniques
  • Uphold radiation safety standards
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Assist with post-procedure recovery and hemostasis
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in radiologic science required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Radiologic Technologist state license required
  • Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] registration required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (ARRT) required
  • Experience preferred
