About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Post Acute Care Management day-to-day operations within administrative functions
  • Coordinate and support administrative operations to ensure efficient workflow
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements
  • Collaborate with inpatient and ambulatory departments and skilled nursing facilities to resolve operational issues
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and documentation to support decision-making and track operational performance
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide administrative support for special projects, including research, data collection, and project coordination
  • Communicate with staff and stakeholders to support smooth hospital operations
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and other resources
  • Assist with onboarding and training new staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study required
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or operational support role required
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare (ambulatory or hospital) setting strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Analytical skills to assess operational processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau and other relevant software tools
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible to be on-site approximately 2 times per week at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA or at medical offices as far north as Dover, NH and as far west as Northampton, MA
  • Stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment on remote workdays
  • Teams video accessed using MGB-provided equipment
