About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet patients professionally and warmly
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information and enter it into systems
  • Schedule appointments and confirm patient information
  • Explain insurance and billing policies and procedures
  • Process payments and provide receipts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of admitting, scheduling, registration, or insurance verification experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift and carry 20-35 lbs, and perform listed physical activities
  • Rotating work shift
