About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) – State License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • 3 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Knowledge of the principles and skills of practical nursing necessary to provide safe, effective patient care and treatment
  • Knowledge of age-specific care requirements for the populations served
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
  • Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including frequent standing, walking, lifting 35lbs+ with an assisted device, carrying 20lbs–35lbs, reaching, handling, fingering, and constant talking and hearing
