About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate faculty and post-doc credentialing and onboarding
- Process faculty Harvard Medical School appointments and promotions
- Process faculty and post-doc visa applications
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage projects from initiation through completion
- Secure required resources and manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes using formal processes and tools
- Manage projects for on-time completion, within specifications, and within budget
- Communicate regularly on project status with stakeholders
- Own project plans for medium to large-scale projects
- Provide guidance to project coordinators
- Identify potential risks early, analyze impacts, and develop mitigation strategies
- Support team members and stakeholders in completing essential tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Project management experience 2-3 years required
- Faculty Affairs or Medical Education experience preferred
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines and experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lift and carry 20-35 lbs occasionally
