About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Level I user support as the primary technical support resource
  • Provide technical support and advice over the phone, via chat, and deskside
  • Log, resolve, and escalate trouble tickets
  • Install, modify, and make minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems
  • Provide technical advice and support to system users
  • Visit sites as directed to aid with or inventory and maintain on-premise equipment
  • Deploy, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, workstations, network printers, and desktop software packages
  • Install software images and packages, including operating systems, networking components, and office applications
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ISP connections
  • Provide customer service and basic end-user training
  • Inventory hardware and follow procedures for entering support tickets
  • Provide telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users
  • Coordinate activities with network services and DevOps teams
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or certificate in related field, or at least 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Basic computer troubleshooting skills
  • Simple networking experience
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Adaptable to everchanging environments
  • Ability to prioritize workloads appropriately
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to perform physical requirements including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions
