About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Clean commercial properties while consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles
- Vacuum
- Dust mop and sweep hard surface floors
- Wet mop hard surface floors
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, and other units
- Wipe spots and smudges from entry doors
- Dust horizontal surfaces, windowsills, and blinds
- Perform high dusting
- Perform surgical cleaning in a medical facility
- Report unit maintenance issues
- Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens
- Report inventory and supplies to the Supervisor
- Report lost and found items to the Supervisor or Manager
- Maintain clean and organized storage closets
- Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
- Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
- Use time wisely and efficiently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Janitorial experience is a plus
- A passion for cleanliness
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to learn and change behavior
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Ability to travel rarely
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, move, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, reach, occasionally ascend/descend, and perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
